NYU Shanghai is currently seeking multiple Tenured or Tenure-Track positions in Mathematics. The search is not restricted to any rank, all levels of seniority will be considered. All domains of mathematics will be considered, although the mathematics group at NYU Shanghai does have a particular interest in probability theory and partial differential equations.
The Mathematics group at NYU Shanghai is built with the collaboration and help of the Courant Institute at NYU and affiliations with the Courant Institute will be encouraged.
Terms of employment at NYU Shanghai are comparable to U.S. institutions with respect to research start-up funds and compensation, and they include housing subsidies and educational subsidies for children. Faculty may also spend time at NYU New York and other sites of the NYU Global Network, engaging in both research and teaching.
Candidates must hold a PhD in Mathematics, or a related field (or expect it by the start date).
