The Center for Mathematical Challenges (CMC) of Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) invites applications for CMC Fellow appointments in mathematics. Applicants should have demonstrated an outstanding record of research. Research potential and research leadership will also be considered in the evaluation of candidates.
Each appointment is for two years with a possibility of renewal for up to three additional years. The appointment may start any time in 2019. The starting salary is 66,000,000 Korean won (approximately US$55,000). In addition, the research grant of 15,000,000 Korean Won will be annually available. There are no teaching duties.
