Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), located in Reno, Nevada is seeking applicants for the Mathematics and Science Coordinator of the Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC).
This position shares oversight of the TLC with the Writing Center Coordinator. The Tutoring and Learning Center is a dynamic part of the college and is exceptionally responsive to a diverse student population. The major function of the mathematics and science coordinator is to coordinate all mathematics and science activities across the curriculum and to recruit and supervise student center tutors. This includes managing budgets, hiring, training, and teaching tutors, networking with appropriate college groups and departments, and site management of the center activities at other campus locations.

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a Science or Mathematics related field.
2. Two years of experience in a related position.
3. One year experience in the supervision of employees.
